ORDER
The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking a direction, directing the respondent No.2 to dispose his application , dated 20.07.2016, filed under section 64(5) of the Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious & Charitable Endowments Act, 1959 within the time stipulated by this Court.
2.By consent of both sides, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
3.According to the petitioner, he filed an application before the second respondent under Section 64(5) of the Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious & Charitable Endowments Act, 1959 on 20.07.2016 and the same is pending. Sofar, no order has been passed. Hence, he has filed the present writ petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
4.Heard the submissions made on either side and perused the documents carefully.
5.Considering the fact that the petitioner's application is pending with the second respondent from 20.07.2016, the second respondent/Joint Commissioner of HR & CE, Madurai is directed to consider the application filed by the petitioner, dated 20.07.2016 and pass orders, after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as rival claimants, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
