Respondents PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to include the petitioner name for the post of Assistant Director reckoning petitioner service from 19.10.1983 together with monetary benefits and based on the letter No.6906/Peru.1/2016 dated 04.04.2016 issued by 1st respondent by availing appropriate ratification based on the petitioner original appointment dated 19.10.1983 and thereby considering the petitioner's representation dated 05.05.2017.

The petitioner seeks for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to include the petitioner name for the post of Assistant Director reckoning petitioner service from 19.10.1983 together with monetary benefits and based on the letter No.6906/Peru.1/2016 dated 04.04.2016 issued by 1st respondent by availing appropriate ratification based on the petitioner original appointment dated 19.10.1983 and thereby considering the petitioner's representation dated 05.05.2017. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
2.The learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if the representation of the petitioner is directed to be disposed of, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
4.In view of the limited scope of the prayer, without going into the merits of the matter, respondents are directed to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner, dated 05.05.2017, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after providing an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner.
5.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
