O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to dispose of PG(1A) 04/2015 filed by the petitioner for payment of Gratuity within the time limit that may be fixed by this Court.

2.The petitioner was employed as Special Grade Conductor in the respondent corporation and he retired from service on 30.06.2014 on reaching the age of superannuation. As the petitioner has not been paid gratuity, he filed an application before the second respondent on 18.10.2014 and the same was taken on file in PG(IA)4/2015. Even till date, the said application was not disposed of by the respondents. Hence, the present Writ petition has been filed.

3.The learned Standing counsel, who takes notice for the respondents would submit that the application will be disposed of within a period of one month.

4.Accordingly, the second respondent is directed to dispose of PG(1A) 04/2015 filed by the petitioner for payment of Gratuity within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
