ORDER

The writ petition is filed for a Mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent to issue patta in petitioner's favour in respect of property in Survey No.73/2B1A1A1 in for an extent of 1115 sq. ft. situated at plot No.E, Managiri 2nd bit, Madurai North Taluk, Madurai on the basis of petitioner's representation dated 26.09.2020 within the time frame fixed by this Court.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents. 3.The petitioner was in possession and enjoyment of the land in S.No.73/2B1A1A1 in plot No.E, Managiri 2nd bit, to an extent of 1115 sq. ft. from the date of purchase. While so, for transferring patta in his name, he approached the respondents with necessary documents and a representation has been sent on 28.01.2019. Pursuant to the same, on 30.09.2019, the 2nd respondent directed the petitioner to appear in person with necessary documents. W.P.(MD) No.17466 of 2020 not been considered and hence, the petitioner was constrained to give another representation on 26.09.2020. Since the same has also not been considered, the petitioner is before this Court with this writ petition.

4.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that the petitioner has submitted a different survey number, which is not reflected in the sale deed.

5.In view of the said submission, the petitioner is directed to give the correct survey number or rectification sale deed along with a fresh representation to the respondents. On receipt of the same, the respondents are directed to consider the same and pass orders in accordance with law.

6.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
