Respondents PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to take action upon petitioner representation dated 10.05.2017 in the light of decision taken in Koothalur village meeting conducted on 15.08..1991 and ensure petitioner family participation and getting the third respect in the temple festival of Koothalur Shri Olakkudi Amman and Shri Muneeswaran Temple which is going to take place on 26.05.2017.

The petitioner seeks for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to take action upon petitioner representation dated 10.05.2017 in the light of decision taken in Koothalur village meeting conducted on 15.08..1991 and ensure petitioner family participation and getting the third respect in the temple festival of Koothalur Shri Olakkudi Amman and Shri Muneeswaran Temple which is going to take place on 26.05.2017. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.The learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if the representation of the petitioner is directed to disposed of, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

4.In view of the limited scope of the prayer, without going into the merits of the matter, respondents are directed to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner, dated 10.05.2017, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after providing an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner.

5.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. Consequently connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
