PRAYER: Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, praying this Court to punish the contemnors/respondents for their willful disobedience of the order passed by this Court in W.P(MD) No.22385 of 2021, dated 17.12.2021.

This Contempt petition is filed that the order of this Court in W.P(MD) No.22385 of 2021, dated 17.12.2021 has not been complied with.

2.Today(08.09.2022), when the Contempt Petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents has produced a calculation memo stating that order of this Court has been complied and the amount has also been settled to the petitioner.

3.However, the learned counsel for the petitioner is still having grievance that the interest portion has not been settled so far. 2/4

4.Recording the submission made by the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent Corporation, this Contempt petition is closed. If the petitioner is still aggrieved, he is at liberty to challenge the same.
