..Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent No.2 to survey the land of the petitioner in Survey No.845/1, Puliyurnatham Village, Oddanchatram Taluk, Dindigul District and install the boundary stones with adequate police protection within the stipulated time prescribed by this Hon'ble Court.

ORDER
The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking a direction, directing the respondent No.2 to survey the land of the petitioner in Survey No.845/1, Puliyurnatham Village, Oddanchatram Taluk, Dindigul District and install the boundary stones with adequate police protection within the stipulated time prescribed by this Hon'ble Court.
2.By consent of both sides, the writ petition itself is taken up for disposal.

3.According to the petitioner, he filed an application before the second respondent on 11.07.2016 to survey his land and demarcate the boundaries and he has also paid necessary fees for the same. Sofar, no action has been taken by the second respondent.
4.Heard the submissions made on either side and perused the documents carefully.
5.Since the petitioner filed necessary application, dated 11.07.2016 along with necessary fee and that is pending, the second respondent is directed to conduct survey of petitioner's land in Survey No.845/1, Puliyurnatham Village, Oddanchatram Taluk, Dindigul District with the help of surveyor and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as the neighbouring land owners, with reference to the revenue records and the petitioner's title deeds, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
