ORDER

The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition, directing the respondents to consider and dispose of his applications for name change in patta id 2016/0103/13/007486 , 2016/0103/13/007487 and 2016/0103/13/007493 dated 12.07.2016 within the stipulated period as prescribed by this Court in accordance with law. 2.According to the petitioner, he has filed an application for transfer of patta before the first respondent on 11.02.2016. The first respondent advised the petitioner to approach the second respondent. Hence, he approached the second respondent along with all original documents pertaining to his properties. Subsequently, he made several reminders. Sofar, no action has been taken. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.Heard the submissions made on either side and perused the material documents carefully.

4.In the above circumstances, the first respondent/Tahsildar, Nilakkottai, Dindigul District, is directed to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 12.07.2016 and pass orders, after giving notice to the petitioner and rival claimants, if any, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
