PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to direct the respondent to file final report in Crime No.260 of 2018 on the file of the second respondent and proceed the same as per law within a stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court.

ORDER
This petition has been filed seeking direction to the second respondent to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.260 of 2018 pending on the file of the second respondent.
2. The grievance of the petitioner is that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, a case in Crime No.260 of 2018 has been registered for the offences punishable under Sections 294 (b), 323, 342, 498(A) and 506(1) IPC by the respondent police. But for more than one year, the respondent police has not taken any action on the said complaint. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that the investigation on the complaint given by the petitioner is in progress and final report will be filed shortly.
4. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation in the case in Crime No.260 of 2018 and file a final report within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
