ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.9 of 2021 registered on the file of the first respondent for the offences under Sections 498(A) and 406 of IPC

2. The second respondent is the defacto complainant. M/s.M.Suganthi, WHC-3933 attached to All Women Police Station, Thallakulam, confirmed that the matte has been compromised through the mobile phone of the learned counsel appearing for the defacto complainant. I had a video call with the defacto complainant. She confirmed that she has voluntarily entered into a compromise with the petitioners and that she has no objection for quashing the impugned FIR. Since the parties have arrived at an amicable settlement, no purpose will be served in keeping the impugned prosecution alive. Crl.O.P.(MD)No.19621 of 2021 memo. The impugned FIR is quashed. The Criminal Original Petition is allowed.
