PRAYER : Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the first respondent i.e. the Principal Secretary to Government, Revenue Department, Chennai to pass appropriate orders on the proposals sent by the Commissioner of Revenue Administration Chennai i.e. the second respondent in his letter No. Ser 4(2)/41758/2014 dated 28.03.2016 regarding inclusion of the petitioner's name in the approved list of Assistants of the year 2007, within a specified time that may be fixed by this Court.

ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to pass appropriate orders on the proposals sent by the second respondent in his letter No. Ser 4(2)/41758/2014 dated 28.03.2016.
2.Mr.M.Pandiarajan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
3.According to the petitioner, she is working as Firka Revenue Inspector in the cadre of Assistant in Sithannaasal Firka, Iluppur Taluk, Pudukkottai District and her name was included in the approved list of Assistants for the year 2014. But, her name ought to have been included in the appropriate list of Assistants for the year 2007. In this connection, she sent a representation to the third respondent on 09.10.2014 and after receiving the same, the third respondent by letter dated 09.04.2015, has sent a proposal to the second respondent for including the petitioner's name in the approved list of Assistants for the year 2007 as last person with S.No.7. Thereafter, the second respondent has also sent a proposal to the first respondent on 28.03.2016. But, so far no action has been taken till date. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court for the relief as stated above.
4.In reply, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the said proposal dated 28.03.2016, would be considered on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 5.In agreement with the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the said proposal dated 28.03.2016 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
