For Petitioner : No appearance For R1 and R2 : Mr.K.P.Krishnadoss Special Government Pleader *** COMMON ORDER Earlier, this Court has recorded the submission of the learned Special Government Pleader that the proceedings initiated under the Land Acquisition Act have already elapsed and therefore, the prayer in all these Writ Petitions has become infructuous. However, not finding the presence of the learned Counsel for the petitioners, these Writ Petitioners have been adjourned to 25.01.2021 for providing opportunity to the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioners to make his submissions in regard to the statement made on behalf of the respondents. 2.

When these Writ Petitions have been listed for hearing today, the learned Special Government Pleader reiterated the same stand stated earlier, but, this Court once again finds that the petitioner Counsel is not before this Court. However, taking note of the submissions that the proceedings which are the subject matter of all these Writ Petitions have already elapsed and fresh proceedings is to be initiated, this Court finds that the prayer in all these Writ Petitions has become infructuous and therefore, the Writ Petitions are dismissed. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
