When the matter was taken up for hearing on 10.07.2025, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner's representation dated 20.11.2024, received by the District Legal Services Authority under Reference No.2651 of 2024, dated 21.11.2024, has not been forwarded to the Jail Authorities.

3. This Court called for an explanation from the Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Tirunelveli, and the same has been received.

4. Upon perusal of the explanation submitted by the Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Tirunelveli, this Court directs the Chairman to ensure that applications received from prisoners are promptly forwarded to the Page No.2 of 4

appropriate authorities without any delay.
