ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents / TANGEDCO.

2. The petitioner is a consumer of electricity. The petitioner had been directed to pay the petition mentioned amount towards Additional Security Deposit. The petitioner expressed certain difficulties in making the payment at one go.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner draws my attention to the order dated 12.08.2020 made in W.P.No.10520 of 2020. A learned Judge of this Court had permitted the consumer to pay the amount in installments.

4. In view of the said decision, I permit the petitioner to pay the additional security deposit as claimed by the second respondent in six equal monthly installments. The first installment will commence from 13.08.2022 onwards. If in case the petitioner commits default in making the payments, it is always open to the respondents to initiate appropriate action in accordance with law.
