This petition has filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the Inspector of Labour, Dindigul to dispose of the petitioner's application in g.ep.rl;lk;.tof;F vz;.1/2016 pending on his file within a stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

O R D E R

The petitioner seeks for a Writ of Mandamus directing the Inspector of Labour, Dindigul to dispose of the petitioner's application in g.ep.rl;lk;.tof;F vz;.1/2016 pending on his file within a stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

2.The learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if the petitioner's application is directed to be disposed of, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

4.In view of the limited scope of the prayer, without going into the merits of the matter, respondents are directed to consider and dispose of the petitioner's application, dated 29.04.2015, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the interested parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after providing an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner.

5.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
