Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records pertaining to the Promotion Panel dated 26.04.2017 issued by the 2nd respondent herein and quash the same in so far as it relates to promotion to the Post of Head Master, Sedapatti Union Middle School and consequently direct the 2nd and 3rd respondent to place the petitioner ahead of the 4th respondent in the Promotion Panel to the Post of Head Master, Sedapatti Union Middle School and promote the petitioner.

2.By consent of parties, the main Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
3.The petitioner filed this Writ Petition, seeking to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records pertaining to the Promotion Panel dated 26.04.2017, issued by the 2nd respondent herein and quash the same insofar as it relates to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
promotion to the Post of Head Master, Sedapatti Union Middle School and consequently direct the 2nd and 3rd respondent to place the petitioner ahead of the 4th respondent in the Promotion Panel to the Post of Head Master, Sedapatti Union Middle School and promote the petitioner.
4.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if the representation of the petitioner dated 21.05.2017 is disposed of, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 5.In view of the limited scope of the prayer, without going into the merits of the matter, respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 21.05.2017 in the light of the proceedings in Na.Ka.No.16170/D3/2007 dated 11.06.2007 on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the interested parties, if any, and pass appropriate orders within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
