: Respondents Prayer: Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code to direct the first to third respondents not to harass the petitioner and his family members under the false case without due process of law on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 19.07.2019.

O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first to third respondents not to harass the petitioner. 2.According to the petitioner, he is working as a Superintendent in the Highways Department at Thirumayam, Pudukottai District. Earlier, a complaint has been given by a higher official. Based on that a crime has been registered against the petitioner for the offences under Sections 505 (1) (b) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 66 A (c) of the Information Technology Act, 2000. Now, the second respondent Police foisted another case against the petitioner and harassing him under the guise of enquiry. Hence, the present complaint has been given.

respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, submitted that investigation is pending in respect of Crime No.37 of 2019 on 20.06.2019 and thereafter, no case is foisted against the petitioner and the second and third respondents are not harassing the petitioner as alleged by him.

4.Recording the above said submission, as on date, there is no other complaint enquiry is pending against the petitioner and only the investigating is pending in Crime No.37 of 2019, the respondent Police is directed not to harass the petitioner. 5.In view of the above, the Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
