ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to file the final report in Crime No. 109 of 2021, on the file of the second respondent police station.

2.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the respondent police may be directed to file final report in Crime No.109 of 2021.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, an FIR in Crime No.109 of 2021 had been registered for the offences under Sections 294(b), 323, 355 and 506(i) of IPC and Section 4 of TN Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002. After investigation, the same was closed as 'mistake of fact' and the respondent police filed a final report before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Trichirappalli, on 08.10.2021.

4.Recording the same, this criminal original petition stands closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the closure report filed by the respondent police.
