Prayer: This Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to direct the respondent police not to harass the petitioner in any manner against law.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent police not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

2.Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent. 3.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, reports that the petitioner was involved in 25 criminal cases, out of which 23 cases were enquired and closed. In respect of Crime No.85 of 2016 and Cr.No.215 of 2017, where the petitioner is the accused, the investigation is pending before the respondent police. 4.Under such circumstances, once the regular FIR has been registered, the question of "Not to harass" will not arise. Any direction issued by this Court at this stage will amount to interfere with the investigation conducted by the respondent police. 5.Hence, this Criminal Original petition is dismissed.
