The writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to restrain the agitation made by the 6th respondent in front of the petitioner's company namely "Sri Naganandah Mills Private Limited" and also give protection and safeguard the petitioner's company property. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. Mr.K.P.Krishna Doss, learned Government Advocate, takes

notice for the respondents 1 to 5. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 5 and perused the records.

4. Ms.A.Banumathy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the Director of "Naganandah Mills Private Limited" situated in Vakkanagundu Kariyapatti at Virudhunagar District and they are running the Mill for the past 30 years and in the last few years, due to financial crunch, there is labour un-rest and the issues are now pending before the 5th respondent. While so, the 6th respondent has issued pamphlets and proclaimed to conduct an agitation in front of the Mill. Therefore, the petitioner sent a representation to the respondents 1 to 5 on 14.10.2016, seeking police protection to safeguard the Mill properties. Since, no order was passed so far, the petitioner has come up with this present writ petition before this Court.

5. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 14.10.2016 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No Costs.
