PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent to receive the petitioner's application for registering the society in the name of "Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam Auto Owners Welfare Society" along with the prescribed fee and proceed the application in accordance with law, based on the petitioner's representation dated 07.06.2018. ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed to direct the respondent to receive the petitioner's application for registering the society in the name of "Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam Auto Owners Welfare Society" and to proceed the same in accordance with law.

2.According to the petitioner, he made a representation dated 07.06.2018 to the respondent seeking to register the society under the name and style of "Dr.APJ.Abdul Kalam Auto Owners Welfare Society" with the respondent. But, on such representation, no action has been taken till date. Hence, the present writ petition. 3.In reply, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent, on instructions, would submit that the respondent has no objection to register the petitioner's society, if it is otherwise in order. He would further submit that the petitioner's representation dated 07.06.2018, would be considered on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

4.Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate and having regard to the limited scope of the prayer made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to pass the following direction:- the petitioner is directed to resubmit all the relevant https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.17171 of 2019 documents for registration of his society before the respondent, as expeditiously as possible and on receipt of such documents, the respondent is directed to register the petitioner's society, if it is otherwise in order, by considering the representation of the petitioner, dated 07.06.2018, at the earliest; 5.This Writ Petition is disposed of, in the above terms. No costs.
