ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side. 2.The petitioner seeks only a consideration on his representation, dated 03.08.2016. The petitioner has not asked for any substantive relief in this writ petition. The Hon'ble Supreme Court in Civil Appeal No.2425 of 2019, dated 01.03.2019 has deprecated the practice of passing 'dispose of representation' orders. I therefore, decline to grant the relief sought for in this writ petition.

3.It is stated by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has got himself impleaded in a connected writ proceeding. I am of the view that the petitioner can as well as canvass his rights in that impleading application itself. 4.Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed. However, it is made clear that the dismissal of the writ petition will not stand in the way of the writ petitioner from seeking a substantive relief and will not amount to casting any reflection on the petitioner's entitlement. No costs.
