The writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider petitioner's representation dated 25.09.2016 and to give police Protection to the petitioner's life and limb at the time of survey of his land.

2. Mr.K.P.Krishna Doss, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.

4. Considering the nature of the prayer sought for in this writ petition, without going into the merits of the case, the

second respondent/Inspector of Police, Taluk Police Station, Dindigul is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.09.2016 and pass orders, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. No Costs.
