The writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant permission and protection for staging drama namely Valli Thirumanam scheduled to be held on 26.10.2016 at night in connection with Pongal Thiruvizha in Arulmigu Sri Niraimaraikkal Ayyanar Kovil at Posukudipatti Village, Kudukulathur Taluk, Ramanathapuram District, based on his representation dated 10.10.2016.

2. Mr.K.P.Krishna Doss, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
