This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to pass orders for transfer and posting in favour of the petitioner to School Education Department as PG Assistant in Government Higher Secondary School based on the General Transfer Counselling to be conducted on 25.05.2017, by considering the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 26.04.2017. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.Mr.T.R.Janarthanan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of parties, the main Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3. After some arguments, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if the representation of the petitioner is disposed of, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

4. Therefore, without expressing any view on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the 2nd Respondent, to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 26.04.2017 and pass appropriate orders on the same, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving personal opportunity to the petitioner and the rival claimants, if any, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
