O R D E R

This Writ petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the respondent to disburse the retirement benefits to the retired persons, who were working in the respondent Corporation as drivers, conductors and technical employees as per the seniority list from the year 2013 onwards with 18% interest based on the representation dated 23.09.2016.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in the respondent corporation, most of the employees viz., Drivers, Conductors and Technical Employees retired from January, 2013 onwards, but they did not get retirement benefits of gratuity https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

and other benefits from the respondent corporation. In view of the attitude of the respondent corporation, the retired employees are unable to maintain their family. So stating, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 23.09.2016 to the respondent. As the same is not considered, this writ petition has been filed. 4.The learned Standing counsel for the respondent would submit that it is agreeable for the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 23.09.2016. 5.In view of the submission made by the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent, this writ petition is disposed of, directing the respondent to consider the representation dated 23.09.2016 and to pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
