O R D E R

The writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to give necessary protection to conduct the Kandhuri Festival in Kottaipattinam Muslim Jamath at Kottaipattinam Village, Manamelkudi Taluk, Pudukkottai District on 01.11.2016 to 03.11.2016 by considering petitioner's representation dated 18.10.2016.

2. Mr.K.P.Krishna Doss, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the petitioner has sought for a larger prayer, it is suffice to issue a direction to the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.10.2016. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, without going into the merits of the case, the third respondent/Inspector of Police, Kottaipattinam Police Station, Pudukkottai District is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.10.2016 and pass orders, as expeditiously as possible.

5.Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. No Costs.
