This writ petition is filed to direct the respondents to grant emergency leave for 15 days without escort to the petitioner's son, the prisoner, Krishnakumar, S/o.Rajendran, CT No.5466(PID No.415191), now confined at Central Prison, Palayamkottai, based on the representation send by the petitioner dated 22.02.2025.
2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents. 3.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the father of the petitioner sent a representation dated 22.02.2025 seeking
emergency leave for his son. Based on the said representation, the petitioner's son was granted leave for one day ie., on 26.03.2025 and in such circumstances, the petition filed for emergency leave has become infructuous. 4.Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Writ Petition stands closed as infructuous.
