PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 20.05.2017 and to issue patta to the petitioner to an extend of 3 cents in survey No.1345 in Vallampatti Village, Virudhunagar District. The petitioner seeks for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 20.05.2017 and to issue patta to the petitioner to an extend of 3 cents in survey No.1345 in Vallampatti Village, Virudhunagar District.

2.Mr.K.P.Krishnadas, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if the representation of the petitioner is disposed of, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

In view of the limited scope of the prayer, without going into the merits of the matter, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 20.05.2017 and pass appropriate orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the interested parties, if any, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
