ORDER : The Court made the following order :- This petition has been filed to extend the time to the petitioner for appear before the respondent police in respect of enquiry as per the order of this Court in Crl.OP(MD) No.8994 of 2025 dated 21.05.2025.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner's wife is taking treatment for cancer and she is in critical condition. Further, the respondent police has issued a summon to the petitioner dated 04.06.2025 calling upon the petitioner to attend the enquiry. Since the petitioner is not in a position to attend the enquiry before the respondent police and the petitioner has sent a legal notice to the respondent. Hence, he filed a petition for extension of time to comply with the conditions.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that the petitioner has not appeared before the respondent police for enquiry.

4. Considering the reasons stated in the petition, two weeks further time is granted to the petitioner to appear before the respondent police from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the respondent police is directed to complete the enquiry within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Till such time, no coercive steps shall be taken against the petitioner.
