Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ of Mandamus thereby directing the 2nd respondent to give permission and police protection for the event of Orchestra in connection with Thevar Jayanthi Vizha to be scheduled on 30.10.2016 at Koodalur Village, Sivagiri Taluk, Tirunelveli District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 15.10.2016 within the period stipulated by this Court.
