Respondents PRAYER : The Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Cr.P.C., to direct the 1st and 2nd respondents to provide adequate protection to the petitioner and his house bearing No.103, Nadukudiyiruppu, Kiliyoor Village and Post, Paramakudi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District, in accordance with the representation, dated 01.10.2018.

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by a 76 year old person, seeking for police protection.
2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that third and fourth respondents are continuously threatening the petitioner for the purpose of taking the entire property belonging to the petitioner. The complaint was also given before the respondent police and the same was kept at the stage of enquiry in C.S.R.No.112 of 2018. Since there was continuous threat to the life and limb of the petitioner, the present petition has been filed before this Court, seeking for Police Protection. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3.When the matter is taken up for hearing, this Court directed the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) to get instructions with regard to the steps taken by the police on the complaint given by the petitioner. Today, on instructions, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that the respondent police have registered the F.I.R in Crime No.110 of 2018 on 23.10.2018 against three accused persons for the alleged offences under Sections 294(b) and 506(ii) I.P.C. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would further submit that the respondent police will take necessary action, in accordance with law against the accused persons, in the course of investigation. 4.Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
