This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction against the respondent to comply with the order in Crl.M.P.No. 2801 of 2024 dated 28.02.2024, on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.III, Thoothukudi and to expedite the proceedings within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2.The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner's husband is intimidating her to vacate the house. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) on instruction from the respondent police submits that the earlier complaint of the petitioner was treated as petition enquiry and the same was closed as civil in nature. Thereafter, the petitioner has approached the learned Judicial Magistrate No.III, Thoothukudi, under 156(3) of Cr.P.C and the learned Judicial Magistrate No.III, Thoothukudi, has forwarded the complaint to the respondent police. The respondent police has enquired into the matter and he would submit the report to the learned Judicial 2/4
Magistrate No.III, Thoothukudi, within a week. 4.Recording the submissions of the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent police to file a report before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.III, Thoothukudi, within a week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order .
