Respondent PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ order or direction in a writ of certiorarified mandamus, calling for the records in connection with the impugned order passed by the respondent in Na.Ka.No.4646/E2(2)/2016, dated 21.04.2017, quash the same and consequently directing the respondent to promote the petitioner as 'Junior Assistant' on par with his juniors by including his name in the promotion panel and confer all monetary benefits. The petitioner seeks for a writ of certiorarified mandamus, calling for the records in connection with the impugned order passed by the respondent in Na.Ka.No.4646/E2(2)/2016, dated 21.04.2017, quash the same and consequently directing the respondent to promote the petitioner as 'Junior Assistant' on par with his juniors by including his name in the promotion panel and confer all monetary benefits.
2. The learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if the representation of the petitioner is directed to be disposed of, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that the respondent will consider the petitioner's representation dated 20.05.2017 in this regard and pass appropriate orders. 5.Though the petitioner has come up with this petition for the aforesaid prayer, this Court is not inclined to grant the same. However, the respondent is directed to consider and dispose the petitioner's representation dated 20.05.2017, who is in seniority No.24 in the promotion panel, on merits and in accordance with law, after providing an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as the other parties concerned, if any, and pass appropriate orders within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
