ORDER

This writ petition is filed for Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondent to transfer the name in the Property tax and water tax assessments in respect of the petitioner's house in Door No.2, Ward No.4, Srirangam Zone, Trichirappalli City Municipal Corporation, based on her applications, dated 08.01.2015 and on 25.04.2023.

2. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3. The contention of the petitioner is that there is no rival claimant. Therefore, this Court without going into the merits of the case, the respondent is directed to issue notice to the petitioner, if there is any rival claimant issue notice to them as well. The respondent is further directed to conduct enquiry and pass appropriate orders, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.

4. Accordingly, this Writ petition is allowed. There shall be no order as to costs.
