ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.DURAISWAMY,J.) The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 to remove the encroachment of 20 feet wide East Street in Kovilangulam Colony, situated in Survey No.360/16 in Kovilangulam, Kamuthi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District, following the action already taken by the respondents 3 and 4 in the letters, dated 12.11.2015, 03.12.2015 and 08.02.2016 within a time frame.

2.When the Writ Petition is taken up for hearing, Mr.P.Thilak Kumar, learned Government Pleader, taking notice for the respondents 1 to 5 submitted that the encroachment made by the sixth respondent would be removed in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks.

3.Mr.K.Seemaraj, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that in view of the submission made by the learned Government Pleader, the Writ Petition may be closed. 4.Having regard to the submission made by the learned counsel appearing on either side, recording the submission made by the learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 5 that the authorities would remove the encroachment made by the sixth respondent within a period of eight weeks in accordance with law, the Writ Petition stands closed. No costs.
