O R D E R

The petitioner seeks for a Writ of Mandamus to issue a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 herein provide adequate Police Protection to the petitioner and his family members by considering Petitioner's representation dated 30.03.2017.

2. The learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if the representation of the petitioner is directed to be disposed of, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

4. In view of the limited scope of the prayer, without going into the merits of the matter, the respondents 1 and 2 is directed to consider the representation, of the petitioner, dated 30.03.2017 on merits and in accordance with law after providing an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

other parties concerned, if any, and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
