O R D E R

(Order of the court was made by M.V.MURALIDARAN,J.) The petitioner seeks for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to take appropriate and immediate steps to remove encroachment put up by the 4th respondent in Bharathiyar Street, Vilangudi, Madurai-18 by considering the representations given by the petitioner dated 31.07.2014 & 20.10.2016 within the period stipulated by this Court.

2.The learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if the representations of the petitioner are disposed of, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

4.In view of the limited scope of the prayer, without going into the merits of the matter, the second respondent is directed to consider the representations dated 31.07.2014 & 20.10.2016 after giving opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as the necessary parties on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
