Prayer: This Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to direct the second respondent not to interfere in the cultivating tenancy right of the petitioners in respect of their land of an extent of 0.99 cents in Survey No.1118/1 and New Survey No.1118/1A, Aandankovil East Village, Manmangalam Taluk, Karur District and not to harass the petitioners in the guise of enquiry. ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent not to interfere in the cultivating tenancy right of the petitioners.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners are the cultivating tenants and the landlord has given a complaint against them before the respondent police to evict them from the property.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the complaint is pending before the respondent police. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.This Court is of the considered view that the dispute is purely civil in nature and the parties will have to approach before the appropriate civil Court in order to redress their grievance. The respondent police shall advise the parties and relegate them to the appropriate forum.

5.This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
