ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed to direct the respondent to issue new passport having file No.MD1062133719719 to the petitioner, by considering his representation dated 17.07.2019. 2.The grievance of the petitioner is that though he made a representation dated 17.07.2019 before the respondent seeking to issue new passport, so far no action has been taken. Hence, the writ petition.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that at the time of filing the writ petition, though the criminal cases in Cr.Nos.143/2016, 96/2017 and 11/2018 have been lodged as against the petitioner, presently, a charge sheet has been laid in Cr.No.143/2016 and the same has been taken on file and referred cases in R.C.S.No.569/2018 by the Judicial Magistrate Court, Dindigul. The remaining two other cases in Cr.Nos.96/2017 and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.17160 of 2019 11/2018 are pending at the FIR stage itself against the petitioner. Therefore, in view of the subsequent development, the learned counsel requested this Court liberty may be given to the petitioner to make a fresh representation before the respondent to seek his remedy.

4.In reply, the learned Central Government Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent would submit that if the petitioner submits fresh representation before the respondent along with necessary documents to seek his remedy, the same shall be considered on merits and in accordance with law.

5.Considering the submissions made on either side, this Writ Petition stands disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to make a fresh representation before the respondent along with necessary documents to seek his remedy. No costs.
