O R D E R

The petitioner seeks for a Writ of Mandamus to forbear the respondents from interfering with the civil dispute pending before civil forum such as the Sub Collector, Pudukottai between the petitioner with that of the opposite party.

2. The learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if the appeal filed by the petitioner pending before the Sub-Collector, Pudukottai, is directed to be disposed of, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

4.In view of the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, without going into the merits of the matter, the District Collector, Pudukottai District is directed to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner pursuant to the notice dated 05.04.l2017 for appearance in Na.ga.No.A4/1405/2017 in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Till such time, the respondents are directed not to interfere with the civil dispute.

5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
