The petitioners seek for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to measure and demarcate the petitioners Punja land having extent of 5 acres in S.No.1138/1F, Rayappagowndanoor, Sembiyanatham Village, Kadavoor Taluk, Tharangampatti Post, Karur District and issue patta in petitioners name on considering their representation dated 02.05.2017.

2. The learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that it would suffice if the representation of the petitioners are directed to be disposed of, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
4. In view of the limited scope of the prayer, without going into the merits of the matter, the respondents are directed to consider the petitioners representation, dated 02.05.2017 on merits and in accordance with law after providing an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioners as well as the other parties concerned, if any, and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous petition is closed.
