Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the second respondent to permit the petitioner to pay the Additional Security Deposit of Rs.19,64,713/- alone in six equal monthly installments along with regular current consumption charges. ORDER

Mr.S.Deenadhayalan, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the respondents.

2. This writ petition is disposed of at the time of admission with the consent of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents.

3. In this petition, the petitioner seeks a direction to the second respondent to permit him to pay the Additional Security Deposit in six equal monthly installments.

4. This Court, in W.P.No.12099 of 2021 dated 26.05.2021 passed an order by granting time to pay the Additional Security Deposit in six equated monthly installments. A Similar order was also passed in W.P.No.19524 of 2025 on 28.05.2025 in the case of M/s.Venkatalakshmi Paper and Boards Private Limited, Tiruppur, Rep by its Authorised Signatory, A.Suresh Vs The 2/5

chairman, Tamil Nadu Power Distribution Corporation Limited and others.

5. Therefore, I see no reasons to take a different stand. Accordingly, the writ petitioner is permitted to pay the Additional Security Deposit in six equal monthly installments. The petitioner is directed to pay first installment on or before 01.07.2025. The remaining installments shall be paid without any default.

6. This writ petition stands disposed of with the above direction. There shall be no order as to costs.
