Order :This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.RAJA.KARTHIKEYAN, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.R.EROTTUCHAMY, Government Advocate(Crl.Side) on behalf of the Respondent, the Court made the following order:- This petition is filed to extend the time limit of the petitioner's surrender and execute sureties in Crl.O.P(MD)No.4655 of 2020, dated 17.03.2020.
2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) for the respondent. 3.It is seen that the petitioner is paying a sum of Rs.4000/- regularly as directed by this Court but due to covid -19 pandemic the petitioner is unable to furnish sureties. Considering the above, this petition is ordered and the time for surrender by the petitioner before the concerned Court and executing the sureties is extended by two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, failing which the anticipatory bail already granted by this Court shall stand cancelled.
