Respondents PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent herein to conduct the survey and earmark the boundaries in respect of the petitioner's property comprised in Survey No.538/23 and 538/4, situated at Pillapalayam, Musiri Taluk, Trichy District and as per the petitioner's representation, dated 28.03.2017 within the time stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R

The petitioner seeks for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent herein to conduct the survey and earmark the boundaries in respect of the petitioner's property comprised in Survey No. 538/23 and 538/4 situated at Pillapalayam, Musiri Taluk, Trichy District and as per the petitioner's representation dated 28.03.2017, within a time frame.

2. The learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3. At this stage of hearing, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that it would suffice, if the

representation of the petitioner, dated 28.03.2017, is directed to be disposed of, by the respondents, on merits and in accordance with law, within a specified period.

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents has no objection for such an order being passed by this Court.

5. In view of the averments made in the affidavit filed in support of this Writ Petition and in view of the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, the respondents are directed to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner, dated 28.03.2017, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording sufficient opportunity to the petitioner as well as the other interested persons, if any.

6. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
