Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents particularly the 1st Respondent to renew the Crackers licence issued under Explosive Act. 2008 to the Petitioner for selling of Crackers at Door No.9D-12. Sivanthipatti Road Maharaja Nagar Palayamkottai Tirunelveli District vide Licence No.COP.L/TIN.81 by considering petitioner s renewal application dated 04.04.2016 forthwith.

This Writ Petition is filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to renew the crackers licence based on their renewal application dated 04.04.2016.

2. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3. The learned Government Advocate, on instructions, would submit that the first respondent will pass orders today on the renewal application given by the petitioner.

4. Recording the said submission, this Writ Petition is disposed of, by giving a direction to the first respondent to pass orders on the renewal application of the petitioner dated 04.04.2016 on or before 26.10.2016. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
