This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent Police not to harass the petitioner. 2.According to the petitioner, one of the petitioner's relative said to have involved in a crime and absconding, now on the guise of conducting enquiry, the second respondent is threatening and harassing the petitioner. Hence, the present petition has been filed.

3.Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner's relative involved in a crime for the offence under Section 307 of the Indian Penal Code. Now, he is absconding. In order to find out the whereabouts of the accused, the petitioner called for enquiry and there is no harassment by the respondent Police. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/4

4 Crl.O.P.(MD).No.11224 of 2019 4.Considering the fact that the petitioner is not an accused and the accused in the above said crime is only the petitioner's relative, hence, the respondent Police is directed not to haras the petitioner.
