This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to grant permission and protection to conduct Adal Padal programme on 18.08.2019 at 07.00PM to 11.00PM in pursuant to the Avani Festival of Arulmigu Sri Muthu Mariamman Temple in Kantharvakottai, Pudukkottai District.

2. Heard both sides.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that seeking permission and protection to conduct the Cultural Programme on 18.08.2019 in the above said temple, the petitioner made a representation on https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.17437 of 2019 31.07.2019 to the second respondent and the said representation was not considered so far. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed for the aforesaid relief.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the case, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 31.07.2019 and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law, forthwith.

5. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
