This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to grant permission and protection to conduct the Adal Padal Programme on 14.08.2019 at 07.00 p.m., to 11.00 p.m., in pursuant to the Avani festival of Arulmigu Sri Kaliamman temple situated in S.Kumarapuram, Vilathikulam Taluk, Thoothukudi District.

2. Heard both sides.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that seeking permission and protection to conduct Adal Padal Programme on 14.08.2019 in the above said temple, the petitioner made a representation on 31.07.2019 to the respondents and the said representation was not considered so far. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/4

WP(MD)No.17313 of 2019 for the aforesaid relief.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the case, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 31.07.2019 and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law, forthwith.

5. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
