ORDER

The writ petition has been filed for a direction, directing the first respondent to consider his representation, dated 29.09.2016 and to paste the name board of his parents engraved in a black stone on the wall of the building, which was constructed by respondents 1 to 3 on the land, which was gifted by the writ petitioner.

According to the petitioner, the petitioner's parents gifted 8 cents of land to the Panchayat Administration for the purpose of providing playground to the villagers of Jegadhabi Village, Karur Taluk, Karur District. Now, in the above said village, the third respondent had put up some community Centre. Now, the petitioner filed a representation to the respondents to paste the name board of his parents engraved in a black stone on the wall of the building, which was constructed by respondents 1 to 3, since they gifted the said land.

Mr.K.Mahesh Raja, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents produced a letter dated 08.11.2016, sent by the second respondent/Block Development Officer, Panchayat Union, Thanthoni, stating that they are taking steps to engrave the petitioner's parents' name in a culvert.

4.In view of the same, since the respondents have already considered the petitioner's claim, no further adjudication is required. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
